Aliens actually operate by the Inverse Ninja Law, despite being eusocial creatures: The fewer of them, the more desperate and deadlier they are. When alone, a xenomorph is usually a major character, and gains an "ENGINEERED FOR WAR" Distinction, and its Affiliations step up. In groups, xenomorphs tend to appear as mobs, with the following Affiliations: S

ID: Internecivus raptusHistory: Very little is known of the origins of the xenomorph. Humanity first encountered them on the planet LV-426 when the commercial ship
Nostromo homed in on an unknown distress beacon. They landed on the planet later designated LV-426 and found that the source of the signal was a derelict alien spaceship. Inside, they found the remains of its gigantic pilot, who appeared to have suffered some kind of trauma as its ribs were broken and bent outward. They also discovered a large chamber full of strange eggs, from which a spider-like creature hatched and attacked Kane, one of the crewmembers. The
Nostromo's computer partially deciphered the transmission, discovering that it was actually a warning.
The so-called "facehugger" laid an egg inside Kane, which hatched shortly thereafter, erupting from his chest in a bloody birth. The hatchling escaped into the other parts of the ship, where it quickly grew to adult size and began to slaughter the crewmembers one by one. Lieutenant Ellen Ripley and her cat were the only survivors, after Ripley blew the creature out of the ship's airlock and left it to die in the vastness of space.
That would not be the end, as mankind returned to LV-426 within half a century, setting up atmosphere processors to make the planet habitable. Ripley drifted through space in an escape shuttle, in cryostasis, until she was found by a deep salvage team. She went with a detachment of Colonial Space Marines to investigate the loss of contact with the LV-426 colony. What they found was that the Aliens had killed and used everyone for xenomorph hosts. The Marines were unprepared for an ambush — or an intelligent and vicious Alien Queen — and were overwhelmed. Once again, Ripley was among the survivors, along with the Marine Corporal Dwayne Hicks and a little girl. They survived by releasing the stowaway Queen into space, and finally put the nightmare to rest.
Humanity encountered the Aliens many more times, on Earth and off it, and sometimes with the interference of the alien tribal hunters called Predators.
Personality:Drones have little personality to speak of. When acting as part of a hive, they take orders from their Queen and do what is best for the hive. If caught alone, away from the hive or perhaps where one does not exist, the Drone systematically eliminates threats among local hosts and captures several to turn into facehugger eggs. Drones are not mindless, and actually exhibit a fair amount of intelligence, and it is not unheard of for them to exhibit small bits of individuality based on their personal experiences.
Abilities and Resources:Drones are larger than humans, standing seven to eight feet high and weighing several hundred pounds. Their strength exceeds what that size would suggest by several times, however, as they seem to possess the hydraulic strength of powerful insects in proportion. They can tear through armored bulkhead doors with their claws, impale and lift even heavy creatures like Predators with their long tails, and their second set of jaws set in the tongue can pierce thick armor and bone in a single bite.
Fast and graceful, the Drones are very mobile, able to leap great distances and wall-crawl like an insect. Combined with their speed and great strength, they can navigate environs impassable or highly difficult for other species. They also possess senses unknown to humans, but can see without eyes and deftly navigate the confusing labyrinth of tunnels within their hives.
Finally, even if their armored carapace is broken by attack, the Aliens have a nasty final surprise for their attackers: their blood is a highly concentrated acid capable of eating through several floors of a ship or planetary facility. The blood has a tendency to spray when the Alien is struck by deadly weapons, covering their assailants and dissolving metal, flesh and bone with equal ease.
