A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away... Rebels fight an evil Empire threatening to choke the last bastions of freedom from the galaxy. A young farmboy must embrace his destiny as the last of the Jedi Order, a fallen tradition of knights in tune with "the Force", the mysterious energy field that binds the universe together. He is joined by an adopted princess (who doesn't know she's his sister), a roguish scoundrel and his massive Wookiee friend, and a couple of hapless droids. Together they have to fight the Empire, while Luke also must fight to avoid the same fate that claimed his father: falling prey to the dark side of the Force. RebelsEmpireDarth Vader

The ruthless cybernetic Sith Lord was once a young boy named Anakin Skywalker, marked by the Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn as the prophecied Chosen One who would bring balance to the Force. Unfortunately, Anakin was not fated to do so in the way that Jinn had hoped. Thanks to the decline of the Jedi Order as well as the machinations of insidious Sith Lord Palpatine, Anakin fell to the Dark Side, betraying everyone and everything he held dear. With all his bridges burned, Anakin's body soon followed suit as he battled his former mentor Obi-Wan Kenobi on the fiery planet Mustafar. Left badly maimed and near death, Anakin was rescued by Emperor Palpatine and given new life, if it could be called such, with a cybernetic body. With his wife dead, his children taken and the Jedi Order scattered, the newly-dubbed Darth Vader had only the Emperor and the Dark Side left to him now. Vader became the Emperor's enforcer and most loyal servant. His powerful presence served as a reminder of the fallen Jedi ways as well as the Emperor's power, and he was ruthless in his pursuit of the Empire's goals. Nearly two decades later Darth Vader met both his son and his former mentor. He slew Obi-Wan Kenobi and embarked upon a quest to corrupt his son Luke to the Dark Side of the Force. Ironically, it was that quest that allowed his son to help redeem Vader and return balance to the Force with the Emperor's death, thus fulfilling the prophecy. Personality:Darth Vader is cold and mechanical, within and without. He is utterly ruthless in pursuing his agendas, willing to use torture, force (and the Force) and intimidation to attain his goals. He cares about no one but his son, Luke, and that on a deep level that only young Skywalker could discern. Abilities and Resources:Though he has lost much of his Force power in his transformation into a cyborg, Vader is still a frightfully powerful Sith Lord. His telekinetic powers are sufficient to crush most foes outright, choking the life from them or smashing them with hurled objects. Thanks to the Force, his senses have not diminished, allowing him to read the thoughts and feelings of those he terrorizes. This only better enables him to inflict greater anguish upon his opponents. Darth Vader's cyborg limbs possess great strength sufficient to overwhelm normal humans with ease. He can also endure damage and environmental conditions that would kill fully-organic beings. Vader still wields a lightsaber and though he is not as mobile as he was before he was maimed, he possesses an aggressive and brutal skill with the weapon. Few enemies can stand against Darth Vader's saber assault for long as he bares down upon them, hurling heavy objects from the surroundings upon them, tireless and brutal in his attack. Finally, Vader still retains some of his great technical skills from his life as Anakin Skywalker. He is a peerless pilot and a gifted mechanic, and those skills have not diminished in his cybernetic decay.
